If voters agree on November 29, one extra sentence will be added to the Swiss constitution: "the construction of minarets is prohibited".
Several planning permission applications in the German-speaking part of the country provided the catalyst for the vote, with local residents collecting signatures against the towers' construction.
Para falar verdade acho muito bem q não se construam, eu explico porque, em paises Muçulmanos não é permitido usar crucifixos, ou adorar qq tipo de imagem cristã, ou de qq outra religião, (non-muslim items - como esta na legislação)) então porquê permitir ao muçulmanos a construção de Minaretes?

"Items and articles belonging to religions other than Islam are also prohibited. These may include Bibles, crucifixes, statues, carvings, items with religious symbols such as the Star of David, and others."
An employee of the Saudi Arabian Airlines in New York, who only identified herself as Gladys, confirmed the rule.
"Yes, sir," Gladys said to The Jerusalem Post, "That is what we have heard - that it is a problem to bring these things into Saudi Arabia - so you cannot do it."
hummm eu sei é complicado, contudo os suiços não deixam de ter razão .. e olhem q aqui ha muitos muçulmanos a viver!! enfim da q pensar ... mais tarde informarei qual foi a decisão do referendo!

Ja tinha lido e continuo a pensar da mesmo forma. não sou a favor do SPV porque assim como os muculmanos aqui, eu tb sou estrangeira .. como disse no post, é complicado ....
